2027 Board Members

Are you ready to be a voice for our community and help guide the neighborhood we all love? Our small, dedicated four-person Board sets the vision for our annual focus, handles the budget, and ensures everyone stays connected, informed, and well-represented. By stepping into one of these leadership roles, you will directly influence our vibrant community atmosphere and keep our neighborhood a wonderful place to live.

WCA Board has the following opportunities open for calendar year 2027.

President
Supervises the executive affairs of the Association, presiding at all WCA meetings. They act as an official representative at MVCCA General Council Meetings (and may share this duty with other members of the board). They work with Board members to determine an annual budget, activities, and communications.

Assists the President in all executive affairs and can act on the President's behald if the President is absent. Supports the Board in determining budget, meeting topics, and communications.

Secretary
Keeps minutes and attendance records for all meetings and ensures they are delivered to the website administrator and communications chair members for distribution online and in print. The Secretary may help secure meeting speakers and confirm logistics for online/in-person quarterly meetings.

As a Block Captain, you’ll act as the friendly face of your street by hand-delivering neighborhood updates and connecting directly with your closest neighbors. You will help welcome new families in partnership with our Welcome Basket team and casually remind folks about directory updates and voluntary dues. It is a low-stress, high-impact role perfect for anyone who loves taking walks and keeping our community connected.
